The only way the doctor can for sure know what is wrong with you is by conducting a blood test. The blood test will tell the doctor what illness you have. If you happen to go to the emergency room, the physician may want to stay in the hospital for a few days to keep an eye on you.
Once you are released, you will be given a prescription medication to help clear anaplasmosis.
