2. Ginger
Ginger is another terrific herb that can be used to fight a bacterial infection. The great thing about Ginger is that you can simply go down to your local grocery store and buy Ginger. From there, you can use it in a huge variety of ways. You can grind it up and make it into a poultice and then apply it directly to the skin, or you can make a tea out of it and drink it.
The whole point is to eliminate the bacteria that is causing the illness, and that is going to be mostly on the outside of the body. So while drinking it is tea can be somewhat helpful, the best way to use Ginger is to apply it directly to the source you are experiencing. You definitely don’t want to go with straight Ginger on the sores because of how much flavoring there is with this particular herb. You have probably noticed how potent Ginger is if you’ve chopped it up and put it in a juice drink or used in your cooking.
