5. Exercise
Sometimes exercise can seem like the last thing anyone with peripheral neuropathy might want to do, but they’d be well advised to at least give it a go.
Keeping the body moving as much as possible is always advisable unless strictly told otherwise by a doctor or health care professional. The type of exercise has to be something that will appeal to a particular person’s likes and skills, as there is no point in taking something up if you’re not going to enjoy it.
The first thing that happens when you don’t enjoy something is that you give it up, especially when you can justifiably use the pain of a condition like peripheral neuropathy as an excuse not to partake.
By finding a type of exercise that a person really enjoys, the effects of peripheral neuropathy can be attacked with a release of serotonin and endorphins that only exercise can provide in ready supply.
