4. Neck Pain
Cervical radiculopathy can be a real pain in the neck, literally and metaphorically. Even turning the neck slightly to one side can be problematic for someone with the condition as the pain can be so debilitating that it causes them to flinch at the slightest movement.
People suffering from the condition have even claimed that the pain makes them feel as though they are wearing some kind of electric shock collar that punishes them for any kind of unplanned movement or unexpected shock absorption.
It’s pretty hard to ascertain to work out whether it’s the literal pain in the neck that is the worst thing to deal with or whether it is the metaphorical pain in the neck. Neither is particularly pleasant to deal with, but both can be a complete nightmare.
There are lots of reasons besides cervical radiculopathy that could explain someone’s neck pain and so it is always advisable to seek the guidance and advice of a medical professional before jumping to any conclusions.
