4. Fever
Epstein Barr Virus carries with it grandular fever. Not all people contracted EBV will experience it, but once it happens, it creates great discomfort. The fever often comes with high body temperature reaching 38 degrees Celsius. Do not try to cool down your body temperature without getting to the root of the problem. Your body raises the temperature as a mechanism to combat viruses.
When you are having a fever, it’s a sign that there is a battle inside, and that you could do something to help your immune system. Consider taking antiviral supplements that contain zinc, vitamin C, or berberine. These compounds have been known to help boost your immune system and inhibit the growth of EBV. Giving your body enough water is also essential. Water helps provide substance for your body to produce the needed fluids to function well, especially during a time when dehydration is high due to the raised temperature.
