3. Pins and needles in your extremities
If you are having trouble with your feet and legs and it feels like you have pins and needles stuck in them, this could be a cause of folate deficiency. Do you feel like your legs and feet go numb quite often? Are your legs and feet cold all the time? If so, it could be a folate deficiency or something else entirely.

The pins and needles could even be a sign of low circulation which could be a symptom of itself of folate deficiency.
