2. Difficulty remembering
When you are confronted with a problem, whether it is real or perceived, it’s not uncommon to have difficulty remembering certain details surrounding the event. When your stress response is activated, your mind is concentrating on how to deal with the problem at hand; it isn’t paying attention to smaller details that it likely views as insignificant.
If you are under a chronic stress, you could suffer from memory problems in your daily life. For example, you might start to develop issues with your short-term memory, or have issues trying to recall events that have recently occurred.
