2. Drinking Milk
Drinking half a glass to a glass of milk can stop indigestion right in its tracks: But it doesn’t work for everyone, and if you find it making your condition worse, see your doctor first. While milk is a great and quick home remedy for indigestion, it will only work in some cases. Whether or not it will work for you depends on several factors, including if you are at all lactose intolerant – or if your indigestion is being caused by something like a stomach ulcer.
If the culprit is an ulcer, then milk and other dairy products will only end up making the problem worse, and you should stay away from all dairy products and switch over to a more specific “ulcer diet” which contains very little solid food, and very little spices for a couple of weeks to months until the condition recovers. If this doesn’t help, then you might have chronic indigestion that caused the ulcer.
