4. Sensitivity to Temperature
Keep in mind that there are other related conditions that could cause a sensitivity to temperature to occur: There’s cold and flu symptoms, which could give you cold shivers or make you feel like you are burning up; you could also have a fever due to some kind of infection in your body and it could make you feel like your skin is on fire.
Then, sensitivity to temperature in the extremities (like your hands and feet) could also be caused by circulation problems – and this could in turn point to issues with your heart, blood pressure or cholesterol.
Any kind of feeling in your body that you aren’t used to should warrant further investigation by a medical professional, even if you think that it is something insignificant: Things like blood clots are much better spotted early, when they can still be treated and the consequences prevented.
