5. Do Steady State Cardio
Steady state cardio describes any cardiovascular exercise that involves exerting yourself for long durations. In other words, if you go for a long run, a bike ride or a swim lasting more than an hour, then that is steady-state cardio.
This is the best form of exercise for lowering blood pressure because it can lead to a lower ‘resting heart rate’. This means that your heart is much stronger and able to pump more blood with each beat.
That in turn means that your heart rate will be lower and that means your blood pressure will be lower too!
