4. Therapeutic Sessions
When most people talk about the symptoms of perimenopause and what it does to the body, they are primarily thinking about the physical changes that are put in motion by your body. But what about when it comes to the emotional side of things? The hormone changes that are associated with the precursors to menopause can literally make you feel like a teenager again.
You might feel very emotional all of a sudden, have more of an urge to cry for no real reason, be a little bit angrier at everything; other people in your life might be commenting to you that they have seen you change almost overnight. But this is, believe it or not, a completely normal consequence of what happens to your body during perimenopause. In addition to treatments we’ve already mentioned, you can also consider therapy to help you deal with the symptoms you’re going through.
