4. Playing Instruments
It’s funny when you learn that you have a sporting injury and the reason for that is that you were sewing too much! The same goes for playing instruments, which you might be surprised to learn can once again cause tendonitis and tennis elbow.
This is not true of all instruments of course – some are far more likely to cause the issue than others. And in particular, one of the worst culprits is the violin – or any other instrument that involves using a bow. The reason for that is that you will be moving your arm up and down and back and forth repeatedly, thereby making the same motion as you do in tennis pretty much – or a host of other exercises.
As you can see then, tennis elbow is pretty much everywhere and will affect a lot of us at some point or another. In fact, you may be surprised to learn that tennis elbow affects up to 3% of Americans!
