5. Respiratory Symptoms
You may also experience other respiratory symptoms as well. One of those is shortness of breath. You should be able to tell when you have shortness of breath by doing activities that used to cause you no problems with breathing and seeing if you have a more difficult time doing them now.
If you find yourself breathing heavily on tasks that would have never winded you in the past, then you may want to look into why you are having shortness of breath and other respiratory symptoms and find out if they are due to this particular illness. Respiratory symptoms are usually mild, but they can be extremely debilitating and even dangerous in some cases. If you find that you are having trouble breathing to the point where it is presenting a danger to you then you definitely want to seek emergency care immediately.
