4. Salads
Many people don’t mind the texture or taste of Milk Thistle seeds and don’t mind eating them. Of course, there are better ways of doing this than just popping them into your mouth and trying to swallow a mouthful of dry seeds. One of the best ways to enjoy the seeds and one of the easiest is to add them to your salad.
You can use them as a salad topper along with bacon pieces and croutons, or just add them to your favorite salad dressing for a crunchy texture. They go great with other nuts and seeds that are commonly found in salads, and you don’t even have to cook or crush them before you eat them. Keep a jar of Milk Thistle seeds on hand in your pantry and add them to your salads to make them even more nutritional. Some people prefer to use the stalks, flowers, and roots of the plant in place of lettuce in salads.
