4. Speech Patterns
A stroke or brain aneurysm can cause a sudden drop in blood pressure, and you will experience this usually through feeling faint and – as we’ve just talked about – having slightly blurred vision. We’ve also just talked about the increase of pressure that a brain aneurysm can have on the eyes: You might have guessed that it can also increase the amount of pressure that’s being felt by your brain.
This comes with its own list of symptoms, only one of which is changes in your speech patterns that might mimic already having had a stroke. This could manifest in the form of slurred speech, or you might find that you just can’t find the right word to describe what you’re looking at: Both, when experienced suddenly and with other symptoms, should be taken as a more serious health issue – and an immediate visit to the emergency room to diagnose issues.
