5. Forgetfulness
It’s normal for most people to forget small, everyday things. A quick and practical example is forgetting where you left your keys – even though it was just a few minutes ago. Another is forgetting what you had for breakfast – even though it might have only been yesterday. This is to be expected, and can even be expected a little bit more as you get older.
But once it starts to happen more to the point where it starts to affect your life, then it means you should make an appointment with your doctor, especially to rule out things like dementia. Increased occasions of forgetfulness and bouts of confusion could almost certainly point to other health issues, and a sudden spell of confusion – even if it doesn’t happen regularly – could point to the fact that you are about to have a brain aneurysm. Always watch symptoms such as this very carefully.
