Taking a warm bath any night can be just what you need to help you relax. This is a way to calm down and simply relax at the end of a hard day. In addition, if you suffer from neuropathic pain, a warm bath can help to alleviate some of the pain symptoms that you may be experiencing because of your neuropathy.
The warm water in the bath will help to increase the flow of blood throughout the body. This can help to decrease the pain symptoms that you are experiencing as well as the numbness. If the sensory nerves have been affected by the peripheral neuropathy it may cause you to not be as sensitive to temperature. If this is the case it is important to make sure that you do not run your bath water at a temperature that is too hot as this can actually burn your skin.
