3. Stroke
When the flow of blood to the brain is disrupted it can result in a person developing a stroke. A person who suffers from antiphospholipid syndrome may have blood clots develop in the veins that can cause a disruption of blood flow. This disruption in blood flow can cause a person to have a stroke.
A mini-stroke may also occur as a result of this disruption of blood flow. It is important to know the symptoms and signs of a stroke as this can be quite a dangerous health issue. Strokes can cause a person to lose the ability to use part of their body. Typically a person who suffers from a stroke will lose the ability to use certain body parts.
This ability may return in time or can be permanent if the stroke is severe enough. If you have any symptoms of a stroke such as numbness or tingling in the extremities or loss of use of your arms or legs or droopiness on one side of your face it is important to seek medical attention right away.
