This might sound like pure madness, but brushing your teeth with turmeric is actually a good idea for all kinds of reasons.
Firstly, brushing your teeth with turmeric does not cause your teeth to become yellow like you might expect. Surprisingly, it will actually whiten them! That said, your toothbrush is going to end up looking pretty stained.
At the same time, this will help to kill off the bacteria that you don’t want while supporting the good bacteria in your mouth. That’s right, just like you have good bacteria in your stomach, you also have good bacteria in your mouth which is responsible for important things like creating nitric oxide from the food in your diet!
This isn’t something you’re going to do every day. Rather, you’ll do it every now and then in order to whiten up your teeth and get a little more turmeric in the diet.
