5. Drinking Less Fluids
Feeling the need to urinate more than usual is one of the most common symptoms seen in people who have benign prostate hyperplasia, and if you have the condition then you have to look at your lifestyle first to see where you can make changes in order to make your life with the condition easier.
Increased urination is a symptom that can sometimes be helped by decreasing your overall fluid intake, and by drinking fewer fluids in the period before bed to decrease the likelihood of needing to urinate as much. Eight glasses of water per day are recommended to stay in good health, but most medical experts are in agreement that this number can be a little lower or higher for everyone depending on their environment, body weight, and height.
If you have BPH, decreasing your fluid intake slightly can mean that you have issues with frequent urination less. In the meantime, make an appointment with your doctor.
