4. Green tea
Not only relaxing, green tea is also a delicious way to detox. It is full of catechins, a compound that improves liver function by helping prevent accumulation of fat and other toxins on the liver.
Only green tea, not green tea extract, has been proven to help with liver function though. Try hot or iced green tea, or use actual green tea in other ways like green tea ice cream, but avoid just using green tea extract.
Some find green tea to be an acquired taste; if you haven’t acquired it yet, try it watered down, mixed with another tea or with lemonade.
