5. Limit Screen Time
Most people need to use their phones and computers for work, but if you are having eye problems, cutting down on screen time for a few days can help take the strain off your eyes while they recover. In any case, if you are having eye problems, you may not feel willing or able to spend hours in front of the screen.
When you are staring at a screen and concentrating, you may blink more than usual, which can wear down the outer moisture of the eye and can make your eyes feel dry and itchy. Position your computer so that it is below eye level.
If your screen is too high, you may open your eyes wider and cause them to dry out faster. Use the 20 rule–every 20 minutes, look at something that is 20 feet distance for 20 seconds. Doing this will relax your eyes and can help you feel better.
