4. Neti Pot
Neti pots are convenient little pots that sent warm water or salt water into your nose and through the sinuses. The water helps push out the mucus that may be stuck in the sinuses. The saltwater also helps reduce the inflammation in the sinuses so the mucus can pass through more easily. It is best to use water that has been distilled to avoid getting the water that could contain bacteria and germs, and it in your nose.
This could make the sinusitis even worse. It can feel strange to do this at first, but most people feel a lot of relief after doing so. You can do one nostril and then the other. Be sure to use the Neti pot over the sink, as the water will go in one nostril and come out the other along with the mucus. You can use a Neti pot daily or until the sinusitis improves.
