You might also put too much strain on your heart, which could cause a heart attack. Also, if you exercise too hard, you will sweat more. When you sweat, more it can cause your body to lose some of the nutrients that it needs, including sodium. It is important to make sure that you are replacing those nutrients after you exercise to avoid low sodium levels.
