6. Rest
There are times when you are experiencing tailbone pain when all you really need to do is take some time to relax. Resting your back can go a long way when it comes to dealing with pain in the lower area of the back.
Make sure that you lay in a position that is the most comfortable for them that you are dealing with. Elevating the legs may help to stretch out the tailbone and reduce pressure on the area that is bothering you. Elevating the legs also helps to improve blood flow throughout the body.
An increase in the flow of blood can go a long way when it comes to healing all areas of the body. Getting into any position that helps to take the pressure off the tailbone, even if just for a little bit, can provide you with some much-needed relief from the pain that you are experiencing.
