4. Drowsiness
You may find yourself becoming drowsy as well. This is one of the early signs of the virus. The fact is, whenever your body is sick, it is going to want to recover with sleep. Getting the right kind of sleep – that is REM or deep sleep – is the best healing action that you can do for your body. When your body enters this deep sleep, all the other systems slowdown is much as possible and your body is able to concentrate all of the energy on healing.
That’s why you might go to bed with a cold and wake up feeling fine. So, drowsiness is going to be common with this type of illness. Unfortunately, unless you have an overly strong immune system, it may not be enough to knock the virus out of your system. However, getting enough sleep should always be number one on your priority list regardless.
