4. Drink Water
Water is essential to basically every function of the body. We lose water every day, so it is imperative to gain new freshwater daily. The body can withstand about 10 days, it is said, without water.
Doctors recommend 2.7 liters per day for women and 3.7 per day for men. A small percentage of this will come from your food, but about eight cups per day (about two liters) is recommended for basically all adults. This is easy if you are flavoring your water with some good for your tummy herbs, such as ginger, mint, cinnamon, clove, basil, turmeric, and lemon. This goal of consumption of water is made easier if you can carry a water bottle with you.
It may be ideal for you to put a couple of inches of water in a plastic or metal water bottle in the freezer overnight, so it keeps cool longer in the day.
