4. Cauliflower
Cauliflower is like broccoli’s less exciting brother… which is saying something seeing as broccoli isn’t exactly rock and roll! Cauliflower looks dull and it tastes essentially like water… but it is a great way to round out your meal and there are certainly ways you can make it more interesting – by adding cheese to make cauliflower cheese for instance!
This is another thing you can add on the side of your meal without worrying that it’s going to become fattening or blood-sugar-spiking as a result.
