5. Soda
Fizzy drinks like CocaCola and 7-Up are just brimming with sugar. They can destroy your teeth and they offer very little in the way of nutritional benefit (if anything). Some of these soda drinks contain so much sugar as to rival two Cadbury’s Cream Eggs. Which is mad.
So why are they on the list? Because it’s all too easy to forget what you drink when you are calculating what carbs you’re allowed. If you just ate spinach for breakfast and then drank a glass of Coke, you’re undoing all the good work!
