4. Stress Treatment
Stress and nightmares where one doesn’t wake up during are some of the most common causes of bedwetting in adults, and it’s common for this to resurface after someone has experienced a recent bout of trauma or relived a previous one. If this is the case, then common symptoms can also include feeling more emotional than usual, experiencing nightmares or night terrors where you didn’t before, depression and an increased risk of anxiety attacks, which can feel much like a heart attack while you experience this.
If stress is the cause of bedwetting, you should know that the condition itself and most of the associated symptoms that you experience with the anxiety condition (whether chronic or temporary) can be treated. When the stress and the elements causing them are properly identified and treated, the bedwetting and anxiety as associated symptoms often disappear.
Make an appointment with your doctor or other adaptations if symptoms persist from there.
