4. Yogurt
Don’t just go pouring any old yogurt over your fungus-infected body parts, a little more careful consideration is needed if we’re going to waste food, right? Using plain and unsweetened yogurt can be a highly effective cure for fungal infections like this, and it’s natural as well.
Probiotics, present and active in the yogurt work to keep those pesky fungi firmly in its place. Quick recovery of the skin is then promoted, and recurrence is limited for good measure.
If you can bear to do anything other with yogurt than eat it, you need to apply the plain yogurt directly to the skin. Don’t lick it off, despite the temptation, but leave it on the affected area for at least 20 minutes, but the longer the better. Rinse it off thoroughly and repeat as necessary.
If this has put you firmly in the mood for some yogurt, the extra good news is that by eating 2 to 3 bowls of plain yogurt a day, you can help your body fight the fungal infections from the inside as well.
