3. Aloe Vera
Within aloe vera, there is a handy little protein that goes by the name of 14kDA, which holds within it an antifungal property that is so potent it should be given the street name ‘mushroom master’.
Not only is the protein antifungal, but it is also anti-inflammatory, meaning it is doubly effective in the treatment of Tinea Versicolor, as it both fights the fungus and soothes any swelling. Whilst fighting the fungus off, it miraculously heals the skin as well. What a superstar of a natural remedy this is. You can either extract fresh aloe vera gel from an aloe vera leaf if you’re feeling especially earthy, or you can mix a few drops of lavender oil with a few drops of aloe vera gel.
Either way, apply your preferred variety of aloe vera directly on to the affected area, about 2 or 3 times over the course of a day.
