2. Squinting

Squinting is another common symptom that people notice when they’re dealing with an eye problem. Various things can lead to squinting, but at its base, it’s an effort by your eyes to focus incoming light so that it can perceive the image as less blurry. While there are many ocular conditions that could lead to this squinting, the easiest way to determine whether or not it’s the result of farsightedness is by checking to see if it only occurs when you’re reading or looking at other objects that are close to you.

If you don’t have to squint for objects that are far away but consciously — or even subconsciously — start squinting when something is up close then your squinting may actually be a symptom of farsightedness. If you suspect that this is the case then you should go for an eye exam so that a qualified eye doctor can confirm your suspicions.
