3. Pain in the Lower Back
Pain in the lower back can be one of the first signs and symptoms of sacroiliitis or other chronic health conditions that are associated with it, such as arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis. It can also commonly happen after an accident that causes damage to the spine, which can also be another common cause of sacroiliac inflammation.
If you experience any pain in your lower back at all, take a closer look at things like the routine you’ve been following and the posture you’ve been keeping to; also consider the level of exercise and strain you’re putting on the lower back.
If any of these could be the cause of associated pain, then scale down and make adaptations – they can aggravate many conditions including sacroiliac inflammation and arthritis.
See your doctor if symptoms persist after this. Tests to establish the cause of the pain and discomfort in the back are likely, and sometimes it might not be the spine at all but can also point to a variety of other conditions such as kidney-related conditions.
