3. Hunger
Another symptom of polydipsia that a person may experience, especially if the underlying cause for the polydipsia is diabetes, is a feeling of hunger. This is not simply feeling hungry and then eating and feeling full.
A person who has polydipsia may also experience not only an intense thirst but an intense hunger as well. A person may feel like no matter how much they eat they never actually feel full. This can cause a person to overeat, which in turn can cause the person to become overweight.
Being overweight can cause many other health issues such as heart disease, high cholesterol, etc.
If you have noticed that you are hungrier than normal and that you simply cannot get enough to eat and you have some of the other symptoms on this list, it is important to discuss them with your doctor to determine what is causing it.
